COVID-19 Update May 15th

UPDATE MAY 15th.

As per the Pronvincial Government’s announcement of the May 14th phase one release, we wanted to let patrons know that we are actively working to bring curbside pick up to you.

This is going to take a bit of time to figure out so we kindly thank you for your patience in this matter. When we are ready to roll it out we will update here or on our facebook and Twitter pages with all the information and details we have. Please stay tuned!

UPDATE APRIL 1ST

Dear Valued Patrons and Partners,
Unfortunately, we have to deliver some bad news. The North Grenville Public Library will continue to be closed until further notice. This includes all programming. Below is a list of things you need to know.

-All current due dates will be extended to the week of re-opening. There are no fines during this time.
-Spring Programs are cancelled.
-Watch our Facebook page for fun activities, updates, resources and videos.
-Access to online resources remains the same and we are researching different ways to make them and other resources available to you from home.
-Pending Holds and Interlibrary Loans will be available once the library re-opens.
-Expiring cards will be auto-renewed so no need to worry about your membership expiring in the meantime.

BOOK DROP CLOSED STARTING APRIL 4TH.
If you have borrowed items, you might be wondering when/if you should return them. The good news is that we have extended due dates for all currently checked out materials, and late fees have been suspended. Please note that books drops are closed as of April 4th. Please keep your items until branches reopen after the COVID-19 shutdown.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience, but you can continue to contact us through email or phone with your questions as that is being monitored, and we will respond within a couple of days.

We hope you are all being safe. We will get through this! Even though we are apart, you are all in our hearts. We thank you for your patience and support, and we look forward to seeing you online and in-person again.
