Indigenous History Month

In June, Canada celebrates National Indigenous History Month to honour the history and heritage of Indigenous peoples in Canada. It is an opportunity to recognize historic strengths and tenacity which gave us our present-day Indigenous communities.

National Indigenous History Month is a time for learning about, appreciating and acknowledging the contributions First Nations, Inuit and Métis people have made in shaping Canada.

We’d like to share our collection here at NGPL with you!
