Children’s Spring Programs Registration is now open!

All registration is online.  Should you require internet access, dedicated computers will be available for registration purposes only at the library, 1 Water St, Kemptville.
Parents or Caregivers will receive an email confirmation within 1 week of registering which will complete the process.

Please note:

Children’s Programming is open to the children of Parent or Caregivers who hold  a valid North Grenville Public Library card.  Children and babies must have their own cards.

Twinkle Little Stars

Date: Not offered for spring session
Registration: Required

Join us for songs, fun rhyming and stories and meet other new parents.

For babies born after Jan 1, 2016 accompanied by their Parent or Caregiver.

Getting Ready for Kindergarten

Date: Mondays* or Tuesdays, Mar 27 – May 29 @ 10-11am
Registration: Required

Children will experience fun and learning in a safe and caring environment with the intention of acquiring essential skill to help ease transition to a school environment.
For children born in 2013.
Limit 12 children
*no class Monday, Apr 17 or May 22

Reading Buddies

Date: Thursdays, Mar 30 – May 18, 3:30 – 5pm
Registration: Required

High School volunteers and a staff member pair with children JK to grade 6 for one on one reading time in 20 – 30 min time slots. Children are helped to develop reading confidence and build literacy skills. Teens receive High School volunteer hours.  Parent or caregiver must be present in the library.

After School Activities

 Mother’s Day and Spring Craft Workshop

(Ages 5 – 8)
Date: Monday, May 8 @ 4-5:30pm
Registration: required
Crafts and activities for Mother’s Day with Library Sue.

Friday Fun Days

Date: Friday’s, Mar 31 – May 26,  10am.
Registration: not required, Please pick up your numbered ticket at the front desk

Join Library Sue for story time. This program is a family event and children must participate with parent or caregiver. One Friday a month will be French Friday.
For ages 0-5.
Limit 20 children

Sarah’s Circle

Date: Monday’s* Or Tuesday’s, Mar 27 – May 30,  11-12pm.
Registration: not required, Please pick up your numbered ticket at the front desk

We continue our popular drop-in preschool learning and story hour for children aged 0-4.
This program will be run as drop in only.  Limit 20 children per session.

Bedtime Story Hour

The whole family is welcome to Story Hour! Come to the Library dressed in your cozy PJ’s and bring a favourite stuffed toy or blanket for an hour of stories. Bed time snack provided!
