Computers, Internet & Printing

ANNOUNCEMENT! We'd be closing on Friday 24th Feb. 2022 due to the snowstorm.

We’ve got you connected

We offer free use of public computers and free wireless Internet connections at both of our branches. You do not need to have a library membership card to use our computers.

  • The Kemptville Norenberg Branch has nine public computers (one is an accessible workstation) along with two online public catalogues computers.
  • The Burritts Rapids Branch has one public access computer (upstairs).

Public computers are equipped with various Internet browsers, media players, image viewers, and software, including Open Office Applications and Acrobat Reader. Earbuds ($1.50) and USB drives ($3.00) are available at the front desk.

When using the Internet on our public computers, patrons are prompted to read and agree to our terms of use before use. Read our policies related to Internet and technology use.

Copying and Printing

You can make copies at the public printer beside the front desk. As well, all public computers print to this printer. The cost for large copy/print jobs may be negotiable. Black & White 25¢ per page / Colour 50¢ per page

Scan to Email

You can scan documents and send them directly to an email address from the printer. We apologize, but no fax service is available.

Using a Computer

Computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with some possible exceptions.

Children’s Computers

We offer three computer stations in the children’s section of the Kemptville Norenberg Branch, with a range of learning activities and games, in both English and in French.
