Alzheimer’s CareGiver group

Knit ‘n Natter

NG Art Challenge

Date: Saturdays 10:30 am- 11:30 am
Registration: Contact Jayne Couch at jayne.couch@yahoo.com to learn more.

Open to NG residents ages 12 and up. Led by local artist Jayne Couch.
Each Saturday there will be a new drawing lesson and a new art challenge. You don’t need to have any art experience or supplies to join.  The focus will be on drawing with dry media: graphite, coloured pencils, pastel, pen and ink, etc.

NGPL Book Club

The North Grenville Writers Circle
Date: Mondays, 5pm-6:50pm | Returning September 11th

Description: The North Grenville Writers Circle free workshop series returns to the library this fall!

The NGWC welcomes writers who are just thinking about becoming an author, aspiring novelists, as well as traditional and self-published authors. A number of published authors, who write in a variety of genres, monitor the closed Facebook group.

Bring your projects and join a group of fellow quilters for an afternoon of stitching, cutting and swap tips and ideas.

Youngsters of Yore

Date: Thursdays from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm | Ongoing 

The Youngsters of Yore meet every Thursday afternoon at the Library. This group is run by some of our Friends of the Library volunteers. Each week there is a guest speaker and refreshments are served.

Science and Technology Group

The advancement of science and technology in the last 200 years has proceeded at a breathtaking pace, affecting everything in our lives.
This group is meant to provide an informal setting for people to come together & discuss science, its applications and its future.
Group members will decide the direction meetings take so bring your ideas!
